Currently, Sobhita is making headlines for her debut in Hollywood. The trailer for her first Hollywood film ‘Monkey Man’ has been released. She expressed her happiness about her Hollywood debut by sharing the trailer on social media.

‘Monkey Man’ Trailer

The trailer of Sobhita’s Hollywood action film ‘Monkey Man’ has been unveiled. Dev Patel is making his directorial debut with this film. The trailer, over three minutes long, depicts a man seeking revenge against corrupt politicians who murdered his mother (Adithi Kalkunte). It showcases Dev’s character, who earns a living in a fight club and wears a gorilla mask during battles for money.

The trailer also offers glimpses of Dev’s childhood with his mother and how he lost her. As he grows up, he seeks ways to avenge those who deprived him of everything.

Expression of Happiness through Social Media

Sobhita Dhulipala also announced her debut Hollywood film on her official Instagram handle. Alongside sharing the film’s trailer, she captioned, ‘It brings me great joy to share the trailer of my first Hollywood film ‘Monkey Man’. This film of mine will hit theaters globally on April 5.

Star Cast of ‘Monkey Man’

Dev Patel directed the film from his original story and screenplay with Paul Angunawela and John Cooley. The film is set to be released through Jordan Peele’s Monkeypaw and Universal. The cast includes Makrand Deshpande, Sikandar Kher, Sharlto Copley, Pitobash, Vipin Sharma, Aditi Kalakunte, and Ashwini Kalsekar.

‘Monkey Man’ is produced by Dev Patel, Jomon Thomas, Jordan Peele, Vin Rosenfeld, Ian Cooper, Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee, Christine Hebler, and Anjay Nagpal. It is said that this film draws inspiration from the story of Lord Hanuman.
