Nisha Pahuja, originally from Delhi, now lives in Toronto, Canada. She moved to Canada with her family in the 1970s and studied English Literature at the University of Toronto. After working on the CBC documentary Some Kind of Arrangement, she collaborated with Canadian filmmakers John Walker and Ali Kazimi. Her breakthrough came with the 2012 documentary The World Before Her.
