Shoaib Malik, the cricketer, has gotten married for the third time, after the brewing rumour about his separation from his wife Indian tennis legend Sania Mirza. His new wife is Pakistani actor Sana Javed. Malik shared this revelation through a post on social media. Prior to Sania, the cricketer was married to Ayesha Siddiqui.
Pakistani cricketer broke the news about his marriage, with his fans today. He made an Instagram post of the couple in the wedding attire. In the pictures, the couple smiled and embraced while posing for photos. On their special day, Shoaib Malik wore a beige sherwani, and Sana Javed was dressed in a traditional outfit. The post was captioned with “Alhamdullilah (red heart emoji). ‘And We created you in pairs.'”
Who is Sana Javed
Sana Javed is a Pakistani actress who started acting in 2012 with the show Shehr-e-Zaat. Later, she appeared in many Pakistani TV series. She became well-known after playing the main character in the romantic drama Khaani and was nominated for a Lux Style Award. People also appreciated her roles in social dramas like Ruswai and Dunk.
Before marrying Shoaib Malik, Sana used to be married to Umair Jaswal. They got married in a small ceremony in 2020, but they started living separately shortly afterwards. Sana and Umair even removed their pictures from social media.

Sana Javed and Shoaib Malik were rumoured to be dating after the cricketer made a post on his Instagram wishing the actress Sana Javed on her birthday. He captioned the post “Happy birthday Buddy”. The cricketer has also praised and supported the actress in public for being kind when Sana was facing criticism amid rude behaviour towards juniors and make-up artists on a drama set.
Shoaib Malik wrote, “I have known Sana Javed for quite some time now and have had the opportunity to work with her multiple times, from my personal experience I can only say that she has always been kind & courteous towards me & the people around us”.
Sana’s latest project was a romantic drama called Sukoon, directed by Siraj Ul Haq. In addition to her, it featured Ahsan Khan and other actors. The series is about finding peace and contentment after dealing with life’s challenges for a long time.
Sania Mirza’s Father on the Divorce Row
Sania Mirza’s father, Imran Mirza, responded on Saturday, January 20, to Shoaib Malik’s marriage with Pakistani actor Sana Javed. He said that his daughter tennis star, Sania, had initiated the divorce with the Pakistani cricketer. Shoaib Malik announced on Saturday that he had married Sana, whom he was rumoured to be dating, while there were speculations about his separation from Sania Mirza.
Imran Mirza explained to PTI that it was a ‘khula,’ which means that Sania used her right as a Muslim woman to unilaterally divorce her husband.
Sania Mirza is currently involved in providing commentary for the Australian Open in India but has not publicly addressed the rumours about her separation from her husband Shoaib Malik.
