- First of all, you need to download the mPassport Seva app on your smartphone.
- Once installed, click on the “New User” option to initiate the registration process.
- Next, choose the passport office closest to your location.
- Provide your personal information, including name, date of birth, email ID, and other required details.
- Create a secure password; in case you forget it, you can use the “Forgot Password” option.
- Enter the captcha code and click on “Submit.”
- Upon submission, the passport office will send a verification link to your email.
- Click on the received link to log in and complete the verification process.
- After verification, close the app and reopen it.
- Select the “Apply for Fresh Passport” option.
- Proceed to pay the necessary fees.
- Choose an appointment date and gather all the required documents for submission on that day. Your documents will undergo verification.
- Upon successful document verification, your application process will be completed.
- A few days later, your passport will be delivered to your specified address.
