Here’s What Chanakya Niti Says
Generally, we take a bath every morning, but according to Acharya (Chanakya Niti), when we are in such circumstances, we must take a bath. Not doing this can affect our health, because our eating habits as well as our daily routine affect our health.
Acharya Chanakya has suggested rules related to bathing a person in a verse in Niti Shastra. According to these rules, a person must take a bath after this work, otherwise he may put his health in danger.
In the sixth verse of the eighth chapter of Chanakya Niti, it is told that what are the four tasks after doing which a person should take a bath immediately.
तैलाभ्यङ्गे चिताधूमे मैथुने क्षौरकर्मणि।
Chanakya
तावद् भवति चाण्डालो यावत् स्नानं न चाचरेत्।।
This verse means that until a person takes a bath after massaging, after the smoke of the pyre in the cremation ground comes on his body, after sex, after shaving, he is considered a Chandal.
Bathing is Necessary After a Body Oil Massage
Our body needs oil in large quantities because it makes our body shiny and healthy. Therefore, massage with oil should be done once a week, but care should also be taken to take a bath immediately after oil massage. By doing this, all the dirt from your body will be removed which will make your skin shiny and healthy. Along with this, take a bath immediately after massaging. Only after this did he step out of the house.
Bathing is Necessary After Returning From Cremation
If someone has died and you are going to his funeral procession, then after returning from there you should immediately take a bath. One should not even enter the house without taking a bath. According to Chanakya Niti, when you go to the crematorium, there are many types of germs there which stick to your body somewhere or the other. Therefore, you should come and take a bath immediately so that those germs do not spread in your house. Along with this, your health and that of any family member should not be adversely affected.
Must Take Bath After Man-Woman Relationship
Acharya Chanakya(Chanakya Niti) mentions through this verse that both men and women must take a bath after a love affair. Because due to this the body becomes impure, and purity is disturbed. After this, no sacred work can be done. Therefore, to maintain the purity of the body, one must take a bath after sexual intercourse.
Must Take Bath After Haircut
Acharya Chanakya(Chanakya Niti) said that when we get our hair cut, small hairs stick to our body which cannot be removed without bathing. That’s why we must take a bath. So that we do not have any health-related problems. And the hair should be removed from our body.
