Everyday Makeup Guide: Have you been looking for a minimalistic makeup tutorial? Well, you’ve finally reached the right place! Spending hours on makeup is a hectic job, and to do it every day only makes it worse. Heavy makeup also damages the skin, causing clogged pores, acne, irritation, and other skin problems. Therefore, it is best to avoid using heavy products regularly.
In this article, I will share my 7-step everyday makeup guide, ideal for school, college, and office. So let’s get started!

Everyday Makeup Guide
1. Cleanse
Everyday Makeup Guide: Wash your face with a gentle face wash. Massage for at least a minute for the best cleansing, and rinse off. Pat your face dry with a clean towel; don’t rub the towel on your face.
2. Moisturize
Everyday Makeup Guide: After gently drying your skin, moisturize it with a suitable moisturizer. You can use a face serum for hydration or a moisturizing cream; sunscreen is most preferred.
3. Conceal
Everyday Makeup Guide: Apply the right shade of concealer on your dark spots, for example, under your eye. Blend it properly using a blending sponge or brush. It is best to ensure your face is properly moisturized before applying the concealer, as a concealer on dry skin makes the skin appear cakey and weird.
4. Compact Powder
Everyday Makeup Guide: This step is very crucial. A compact powder would do magic for your everyday look. However, you can also apply it as the last step.
5. Apply Mascara
Everyday Makeup Guide: Use good mascara for long lashes and top it up with a thin line of eyeliner. This is a minimalist guide; therefore, I suggest keeping it simple with the eyes.
6. Blush
Everyday Makeup Guide: Use the type of blush you prefer, whether it is powder, tint, or lipstick(ykiyk). I prefer using the same product for blush and lips. It adds a natural effect.
7. Lip Gloss
Everyday Makeup Guide: Not a necessity, but apply a lip gloss or lipstick that goes with your skin tone. You can also use a colored lip balm or lip tint.

Things to Remember About Applying Makeup Everyday
- Never leave your makeup overnight: Always remove your makeup before sleeping, as it can cause clogged pores, resulting in deep damage to your skin.
- Keep a setting powder and lipstick with you, always!
- Applying makeup is a choice, not a necessity. So, if you are thinking of applying it out of peer pressure, don’t! You’re beautiful as you are.
- For natural-looking makeup, never use foundation. Unless you’re a pro, because then, I have no say.
