Actress Ayush Sharma is married to Salman Khan’s younger sister Arpita Khan. Arpita often faces trolling on social media because of her dark complexion. Her husband Ayush has addressed this in a recent interview. He expressed his frustration towards the trolls.
In his conversation with Siddharth Kannan, Ayush mentioned, “Arpita has endured taunts about her complexion since childhood, but she remains unaffected. She believes people will say what they want.” Ayush commended Arpita’s resilient attitude.
He added, “It’s amusing how some people comment on Arpita’s complexion. A large portion of Indians have a similar complexion. I come from Himachal, so my complexion is fair. Why do people focus on skin color? In America, they advocate ‘Black Lives Matter,’ yet here, people ridicule their own.”
Ayush gave a fitting response to the trolls, stating, “Everyone has their own skin color. If you don’t like it, don’t look. Why force yourself? If you’re concerned about fitness, why not focus on your own instead of criticizing others?”
Arpita Khan married Ayush Sharma in 2014. They have two children: a son, Ahil, and a daughter, Ayat. Ayush’s upcoming film Ruslaan, releasing on April 26th, marks his debut outside his brother-in-law’s production house.
