Actress Shinnova Who Claimed Ravi Kishan as her Father Asks for DNA Test

A 25-year-old girl from Mumbai filed a civil case against Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Ravi Kishan in a court here on Saturday, claiming that the Gorakhpur MP is her biological father. The woman has demanded a DNA test. A girl named Actress Shinnova has requested the court to declare her the biological daughter of actor-turned-politician Ravi Kishan.

The petitioner claims that she was born out of the BJP leader’s relationship with Aparna Soni. The girl requested the court to issue an injunction under which Ravi Kishan should not in any way refuse to accept her as his biological daughter.

The girl has also filed a writ petition before the Bombay High Court to quash the FIR lodged against Soni and others in Uttar Pradesh after the girl publicly declared Kishan as her biological father. Three days ago, on the complaint of Kishan’s wife, Preeti Shukla, a case was registered in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, under IPC sections 120B (criminal conspiracy), 195 (giving or fabricating false evidence), 386 (extortion), 504 (intentional insult).

Shinnova’s writ petition, filed through lawyers Ashok Sarogi and Jai Yadav, states that no related incident has taken place in Lucknow. Also, the petitioners, Shukla and Kishan, are residents of Mumbai. Despite this, the FIR has been registered in the capital of Uttar Pradesh. His civil suit in Malad’s Dindoshi court states that as a journalist, Soni met many people associated with the film fraternity, including Ravi Kishan.

According to the petition, Soni and Kishan entered into a relationship and got married in 1991. However, due to some personal problems both could not live together for long. The petition claims that she was born on October 19, 1998, but by then, it was revealed that Kishan was already married.

The petition said that considering these facts, it appears that Kishan and Soni mutually decided that their child would call the actor uncle. The woman said in her petition that both of them took necessary care of her in all times of need. However, recently, when Shinnova and Soni went to meet the BJP leader to wish him good luck for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, he misbehaved and refused to meet them, the petition alleged.

The petition states that Soni then held a press conference to inform the public about Shinnova’s rights as Kishan’s biological daughter. Shinnova said in the petition that nothing objectionable was said in the press conference, yet Kishan’s wife, Shukla, filed an FIR against him. The case will be heard in the Dindoshi court on April 25, while the writ petition may be listed in the High Court next week.
