Allu Arjun’s ongoing legal troubles show no sign of easing as the actor’s regular bail petition hearing has been postponed to January 3. The actor, who has been embroiled in legal issues following the tragic incident at Sundha Theatre on December 4, still faces the looming threat of arrest.
The incident, which resulted in the death of a woman and serious injuries to her child, led to a police case and Allu Arjun’s brief arrest on December 13. Although the actor was granted four weeks of interim bail by the High Court, the clock is ticking down on his temporary release. With the interim bail set to expire around January 12, Allu Arjun faces possible arrest unless the court grants his regular bail petition before then.
On December 27, the actor appeared via video conference for a hearing on his regular bail plea, but the court decided to defer the ruling until January 3. This leaves the actor in legal limbo, with his future in the hands of the court’s next decision.
The tragic incident that sparked these legal proceedings occurred outside Sundha Theatre, where a stampede broke out, resulting in the death of a woman and injuries to her child, who is still receiving treatment in the hospital. The victim’s family filed a complaint, which led to Allu Arjun’s arrest. Following this, the actor’s legal team filed for regular bail, leading to the current hearing.
In an attempt to ease the situation, Allu Arjun’s father, Allu Aravind, has pledged a financial aid of ₹2 crore to the victim’s family, on behalf of the actor and the film producer. Meanwhile, the injured child’s condition is reported to be stable.
As the legal battle continues, the pressure remains high on Allu Arjun, with the possibility of his arrest still hanging in the balance.
