Anita Hassanandani has expressed her pain about her breakup with Ejaz Khan. She said that they were not right for each other. In a conversation, the Naagin fame actress said-
It was one of the longest relationships of my life and I even went against my mother because he was from a different culture. He was a Muslim and I was a Hindu. He never directly forbade it, but he was always worried. We were perfect separately, but not perfect for each other. It just didn’t work.
Regret changing myself
Anita Hassanandani had changed herself so much in love that even today she regrets it. Regarding this, the Yeh Hai Mohabbatein actress said-
Someone wanting to change you to love you is not love. But I didn’t realize it then, because I was in love and I was willing to change for the person I loved. I wish I hadn’t changed so much and remained as I am. I would have been a different person. It took me more than a year to move on. I literally went to my best friend’s house because I was so sad. Every morning, she would cheer me up.
It is known that some time ago, Ejaz Khan had a breakup with his ex-girlfriend Pavitra Punia. Both were in a relationship for three years.
