As a new month begins, several new films are set to hit the theaters. Although August starts with the release of Janhvi Kapoor’s ‘Ulajh’ on August 2, the biggest clash will occur on August 15. On this day, multiple big films will release, including Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao’s ‘Stree 2’ and John Abraham’s ‘Veda’.

The Clash of Five Big Films on August 15

Once again, August 15 will feature a Bollywood vs. South Indian films clash. Previously, Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Dunki’ and Prabhas’ ‘Salaar: Part 1 Ceasefire’ had a fierce competition at the box office. Now, on August 15, five major films are set to release. These include Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao’s ‘Stree 2’, Akshay Kumar’s multi-starrer ‘Khel-Khel Mein’, and John Abraham and Sharvari Wagh’s ‘Veda’. These films will face competition from Chiyaan Vikram’s ‘Thangalaan’.

Keerthy Suresh’s ‘Raghu Thatha’

Besides Chiyaan Vikram’s ‘Thangalaan’, another South Indian film will release on August 15. Keerthy Suresh’s ‘Raghu Thatha’, a family entertainer, will hit theaters alongside the Hindi films. Produced by Hombale Films, this movie promises a fresh storyline, generating excitement among Keerthy Suresh’s fans.

The Challenge for Bollywood Films

Among the Bollywood films, the biggest challenge is expected to come from Chiyaan Vikram’s ‘Thangalaan’. This film features stars like Malavika Mohanan and Parvathy Thiruvothu and offers a thrilling storyline set in the real Kolar Gold Fields (KGF). Produced by Studio Green, ‘Thangalaan’ will showcase Chiyaan Vikram in a completely different avatar, adding to the anticipation.
