Dhanush Shares Update Amidst Controversy: South superstar Dhanush and actress Nayanthara have become the latest hot topic in the entertainment industry. Their copyright dispute has drawn significant attention on social media, sparking debates among fans. In the midst of this, Dhanush took to his official Instagram account to share a post that has left the internet divided.

The actor delighted fans by unveiling a new poster for his upcoming film, ‘Neek’ (Neelavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam), along with the title of the second song, ‘Kadhal Fail.’ He captioned the post:
“Neek’s second single is the Gen-Z soup song, Kadhal Fail.”

A Glimpse of the Upcoming Song

Dhanush previously released the film’s first single, ‘Golden Sparrow,’ earlier this year. His recent Instagram post reveals a glimpse of the second track, further heightening fans’ excitement. The post’s comment section was flooded with fire and heart emojis, showcasing the enthusiasm of his followers.

The film features a stellar cast, including Anika Surendran, Priya Prakash Varrier, Pavish, Ramya Ranganathan, Venkatesh Menon, Matthew Thomas, and Rabia Khatoon. While the release date remains under wraps, Dhanush was last seen in the film ‘Rayan,’ which premiered in July 2024.

Unexpected Post Raises Eyebrows

In another Instagram post shared hours earlier, Dhanush is seen holding a reel of thread with his fingers bandaged. The caption read:
“Thank you, Rafa… Tennis won’t be the same without you. @rafaelnadal.”

This cryptic post has puzzled fans. While many are waiting for Dhanush’s response to Nayanthara’s open letter, some are lauding his focus on work and subtle way of addressing situations.

The Root of the Controversy

The feud began when Nayanthara accused Dhanush of using scenes from the movie ‘Naanum Rowdy Dhaan’ in her documentary without permission. She alleged that Dhanush’s legal team demanded ₹10 crores for a mere 3-second clip and even issued a 24-hour notice to remove the footage.

This ongoing tension has split social media users into two factions: one criticizing Dhanush for not responding to Nayanthara, and the other appreciating his composure and dedication to work.
