Riteish Deshmukh, who worked with Sivan in Kyaa Kool Hain Hum and Apna Sapna Money Money, expressed his condolences on his ex and wrote, ‘Deeply saddened and shocked to know that Sangeeth Sivan sir is no more. Sangeeth Sivan was the eldest son of photographer and cinematographer Sivan and brother of Santosh Sivan and Sanjeev Sivan. He wrote and directed the film Vyuham, starring Raghuvaran and Sukumaran. This was his first directorial film of 1990. He directed three blockbuster films with Mohanlal, including Yodha, Gandharvam, and Nirnayam.
