The Legend Of Maula Jatt actor Fawad Khan would be returning to Bollywood Along with Ridhi Dogra through his upcoming theatrical project.

Fawad and Ridhi will be cast in a rom-com drama. The makers are yet to cost the supporting actors.

The film has not been given any name yet and the shoot of this untitled project will begin by the end of this year. The makers plan to release the film by next year’s end or the beginning of 2026.

The shoot schedules have been planned abroad and will be shot in several locations including New York (US) and London (UK) to match the theme of the rom-com drama. However, Ridhi and Fawad will not be shooting any scenes in India.

A source said, “The paperwork was only recently completed, and the duo have been cast as romantic interest. The director’s name is still kept under wraps”.

Pakistani actor, model Fawad Khan (42) achieved widespread fame in Pakistan with hit television dramas such as Humsafar and Zindagi Gulzar Hai.

Fawad Khan made his Bollywood debut in 2014 with ‘Khoobsurat’, opposite Sonam Kapoor, where he earned a Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut.

He followed this with roles in Kapoor & Sons (2016) and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (2016), cementing his place in Indian Cinema. Fawad is widely admired across South Asia for his acting style and suave looks.

In a recent exclusive interview with Pinkvilla, Fawad Khan shared that he is very much in contact with Karan Johar and the (Ranbir) Kapoor family.

He said, “I’m in touch on and off. Hamari baat ho jaati hai kabhi chat pe and on phone so I’ve been in touch

 and I have enjoyed a very good relationship with the Kapoor family and there is still a lot of love and respect even with Karan and Shakun so dostiyaan hai (friendship is there)

and then there are some producers friends jiske saath gaap shap lagi rehti hai (there are some producers friends with whom I keep talking)

and then we make plans of meeting somewhere so on and off we talk, we keep in touch and we’re still very cordial and still very friendly and there’s no love lost.”

Ridhi Dogra (39) became a household name through Television. She was seen in Jawan and Pathan with Shah Rukh Khan.
