Actors Shivaji Satam, Dayanand Shetty and Aditya Srivastava are reuniting to refresh the old memories of viewers with their upcoming TV show ‘CID 2’. The makers of CID’ announced the second part of the show. Sony TV shared a video of ‘CID’ 2’ in their official instagram page.
In the promo, it is seen that ACP Pradyuman (Shivaji Satam) rushes towards the bomb site. Meanwhile, Abhijeet (Aditya Srivastava) faces the camera, with the iconic whistle of the show’s theme playing in the background. “Mark your calendars – 26th October ko hoga ek dhamakedar promo drop! (sic)” the caption read.
On Twitter, Netizens shared the first look of CID’ which dropped on Sony TV’s official handle. Everyone is nostalgic to see their childhood show return.
One fan expressed how late actor Dinesh Phadnis, who was seen as Inspector Fredricks, will be missed on the show and wrote, “Jiska mujhe tha intezaar, vo ghadi aa gayi aa gayi Finally CID is back!! Got so many memories with this show. Will miss Freddy sir. Hope the Sony doesn’t do them dirty again.”

CID aired its last episode on Sony TV on 27th October, 2018. After introducing viewers to iconic characters like ACP Pradyuman and Inspector Daya in 1998, ‘CID’ became a staple of Indian television.
