Honey Singh Concert Traffic Advisory: Popular singer Honey Singh is set to perform at the ‘Millionaire India Tour’ concert on March 1 at Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in Delhi. Delhi Police has issued a traffic advisory for the event, cautioning commuters about significant route diversions and traffic restrictions. The advisory aims to manage the anticipated heavy footfall and avoid congestion around the venue.

Traffic Restrictions and Diversions

Delhi Police shared the traffic advisory on their social media handles on February 28. The key diversions include:

  • Traffic will be diverted on IP Marg and Vikas Marg (MGM Road).
  • Heavy vehicles and buses will be completely restricted from Rajghat to IP Marg.
  • Commuters are advised to avoid these routes between 12 PM to 12 AM.
  • Routes including IP Marg, Vikas Marg, and Ring Road (Rajghat to IP Depot) will be the most affected.

Entry Gates for the Concert: Attendees should take note of the designated entry gates to avoid confusion:

  • Parking label holders are advised to reach the stadium via Ring Road and MGM Road.
  • No parking will be permitted on Ring Road between Rajghat and IP Flyover.
  • Vehicles parked in restricted areas will be towed and legal action will be taken.

Important Instructions:

  • Plan your journey in advance considering the road closures and diversions.
  • Use public transport to avoid traffic inconvenience.
  • Avoid illegal roadside parking to ensure smooth traffic flow.
  • Report any suspicious activity or objects to the police immediately.
  • Passengers heading to New Delhi Railway Station are advised to use the Paharganj side and avoid the Ajmeri Gate side.
