Rakhi Sawant Clarifies Her Stand on Viral Pakistan Flag Photo: Bollywood’s drama queen, Rakhi Sawant, is once again in the headlines, this time for a viral photo where she is seen with the Pakistan flag on her chest. Currently in the news for her third marriage, Rakhi is rumored to be in Pakistan, sparking further speculation.
A video of Rakhi addressing the controversy has now surfaced on social media. In it, she explains why she posed with the Pakistan flag. Previously, when the photo went viral, she faced severe backlash and trolling from netizens.
In response, Rakhi gave a strong rebuttal, shutting down the criticism. In the viral video, she questions, “In a country where even a bird cannot cross from a neighboring nation, how does ammunition enter? How do our soldiers get martyred?”
She further adds, “Who brought me here? Answer that first, then I’ll explain why I held the Pakistan flag. When movies are made on Pakistan, Indian actors play Pakistani characters. So stop trolling me.”
“I Am Proud to Be Indian”
Rakhi also clarified her love for India, stating, “I love my country and am completely Indian. Not all Pakistanis or Muslims are bad. I am against terrorism.”
Revealing the reason behind the viral photo, she said, “My film ‘Dhara 370’ is about how children in Kashmir are brainwashed into becoming jihadis. I play the role of a Pakistani girl who, at heart, supports India and helps people at the border. Since I am portraying a Pakistani character, should I show the Indian flag? Of course, I had to use the Pakistan flag for the role.”
Rakhi concluded her statement with a bold remark, saying, “That’s why I held the Pakistan flag in the film. I demand answers from the government, the film industry, and the media. Stop trolling me and live and let live. If anyone questions me again, I’ll respond with my award!”
