Recently on 6th September Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 aired a new episode where after successfully winning fastest figure fast Sobhika Shree got to sit in the hot seat. She belongs to Andaman and Nicobar Island. She is currently working in the health and medical services sector in Delhi. Amitabh Bachchan applauded her for her successful career.
During the game, she shared about the different challenges she faced in her personal life. She said due to their commitment to their work she and her husband are living separately. She has tried to get a transfer to live together but it goes in vain. Amitabh Bachchan wittily advised her to show medical issues and take leave to visit her husband.
He also shared how he used fake illness to take leave from school. He said “When I was in school I would fake my health issues and trick people into believing that I was ill so that I can skip school. There’s a hack that if one keeps onion under their arm then they would get fever and I would use it all the time.”
After successfully crossing ‘padav’ and ‘super sawal’ when reached the question worth Rs 6,40,000 she failed to answer it correctly and took 2,20,000 home.
When Shobhika shee left the hot seat Devang Agarwarwal got the opportunity to grab it. He hailed from Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. He runs a Banarasi saree business. When Amitabh Bachchan showed curiosity about the designs on the sarees, he explained that it takes six months to one year to thoroughly complete a design. He said his designs are usually influenced by the outfits worn by different celebrities. But the issue of design leaking is prevalent he said.
During the game, both engaged in a conversation on iconic Bollywood songs while Big B felt nostalgic about the iconic creations “Rang Barse” and “Holi Khele Raghuveera”. These songs have become inseparable from the festivals of India. Amitabh Bachchan shared that these songs are special to him due to his personal touch. Diving into the deep connection with these songs he remarked, “The song holi khele Raghuveera is a part of Rang Barse and I’ve written those. People really enjoy those songs.” After quite a successful game he stumbled upon a question worth 25,00,000. He decided to quit and bagged 25, 00,000.
