Kalpana Raghavendar Health Update: Renowned South Indian singer Kalpana Raghavendar has been admitted to a private hospital in Hyderabad after being found unconscious at her home. The singer is currently on ventilator support, and reports are speculating that she might have attempted suicide. According to EENADU reports, the 44-year-old singer was found unresponsive at her residence in Nizam Pet, Hyderabad.
The incident came to light when Kalpana’s security guard noticed her house door had been locked for two days. When he couldn’t reach her, he informed the neighbors and contacted her husband, who was in Chennai at the time. The police were later called, and after breaking into the house, they found the singer unconscious.
Currently on Ventilator Support Kalpana was immediately rushed to a nearby private hospital, where she is being treated under critical care. As per reports, the reason behind her health condition is not yet confirmed. However, some reports claim that she might have attempted suicide due to personal reasons. No official statement from Kalpana’s family or team has been released so far.
Reality Show Winner & Veteran Singer Kalpana Raghavendar is the daughter of veteran singer TS Raghavendar. She started her music career at the age of five and went on to win the reality show Star Singer in 2010. She has also been a judge on various singing reality shows. Kalpana has worked with legendary musicians like Ilaiyaraaja and AR Rahman and has recorded over 1,500 songs in multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam.
Additionally, she made a small appearance in the movie Punnagai Mannan alongside superstar Kamal Haasan.
