Mumbai Police Rejects Kunal Kamra’s Special Request: Comedian Kunal Kamra, known for his sharp political satire, finds himself in yet another controversy. Following his viral parody song targeting Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde, Kamra was issued a summon by Mumbai’s Khar Police. However, he requested a week’s time to respond, which the police have now denied, further complicating his legal troubles.

His lawyer personally visited the Khar Police Station to submit a formal request seeking an extension. Despite this, the authorities remained firm on their decision, rejecting Kamra’s plea. Reports suggest that the police are now preparing to issue a second summon under BNS Section 35.
