Kamra Asserts Innocence, Calls It an Attack on Free Speech

Kamra’s lawyer, V. Suresh, filed an urgent petition before Justice Sundar Mohan on Thursday night through the High Court’s e-filing system. The comedian maintains that he is innocent and that the complaint against him is an attempt to censor artistic expression. According to him, the FIR was lodged only to harass and intimidate him for exercising his fundamental right to freedom of speech.

Will the Court Grant Him Relief?

Kamra’s legal battle has gained widespread attention, with many closely watching whether the Madras High Court grants him anticipatory bail. Meanwhile, the comedian continues to receive serious threats to his life. If bail is denied, he may face immediate arrest and jail time.
