According to sources, “Madhur Bhandarkar is working on the script for the sequel. It will be based on the current times and will highlight the changes in the fashion industry. The first part was released 16 years ago, and there have been many changes in the fashion industry since then. Madhur wants to shed light on these aspects in his style while also telling an engaging story.”
The source also mentioned, “He is already in touch with a studio ready to produce Fashion 2. However, at the same time, an OTT platform approached him and showed interest in the sequel. But now they want to make it as a series.”
The source further stated, “Therefore, Madhur Bhandarkar is now considering whether the sequel to Fashion should be a film or a web series. It is expected that he will make a decision in a few weeks. After that, he will start the process of signing the cast.”
