In a shocking turn of events, the main accused in the high-profile murder case of Baba Siddique has been arrested. Siddique, a renowned political leader in Mumbai and a close associate of Bollywood actor Salman Khan, was brutally attacked and killed on October 12. His assassination sent shockwaves through the public, with many speculating the motives behind the crime.
The primary suspect, identified as Shiva, was apprehended near the Nepal border. Reports indicate that Shiva, originally from Gendra in Bahraich, had been on the run since the incident, evading police efforts to capture him. The Special Task Force (STF) actively pursued him, finally arresting him before he could flee the country to settle in Nepal.
The UP STF, in collaboration with the Mumbai Police, led this operation. The arrest was made possible by a team led by Sub-Inspector Javed Alam Siddique and Pramesh Kumar Shukla. Alongside Shiva, four individuals—Anurag Kashyap, Gyan Prakash Tripathi, Akash Srivastava, and Akhilendra Pratap Singh—were also detained, as they were reportedly assisting Shiva in his escape efforts.
While the motive behind Baba Siddique’s murder remains unclear, the Lawrence Bishnoi gang has reportedly taken responsibility for the crime. Further police investigation is ongoing, and it is anticipated that more details will emerge during interrogation.
