In an interview with Faye D’Souza, Masaba recalled an incident and said that once she thought of posting a video on Instagram in which she had not applied any filter. After which she had to face a lot of trolling. After this video, the actress had to face a lot of trolling.

People body-shamed me

Someone commented on this, ‘What are you doing with the makeup brand, your skin is like Om Puri.’ Expressing some displeasure on this, she said that no one has the right to discuss anything other than Om Puri’s acting. Many times people only see the color and blemishes on my face. That’s why I have to do a lot to be successful. I hope that after 10 years they will be able to see beyond my scars.
