The family is safe but struggling to rebuild their lives, prompting them to seek help through a fundraiser.

Masaba Gupta shared the tragic news on her social media, stating, “My sister-in-law and her family lost their home in the Pacific Palisades wildfire, just like many other families. While they are safe, the past few days have been extremely tough. My 16-year-old niece has initiated a fundraiser to help rebuild their lives in LA. Any donation, no matter how small, would mean a lot. If you can’t donate, prayers are equally powerful.”

Actor Satyadeep Mishra, Masaba’s husband, posted photos of the burnt remnants of the house on Instagram Stories, saying, “This is what’s left of the house after the fire. Losing everything overnight is devastating. My sister’s house was one of many destroyed in the Pacific Palisades wildfire. Her 16-year-old daughter has created a GoFundMe page to seek support. Please help if you can.”

Bollywood Actress Preity Zinta Expresses Concern

Bollywood actress Preity Zinta, currently residing in the US, also shared her thoughts on the wildfires affecting Los Angeles. On her X (formerly Twitter) account, she wrote, “I never thought I’d witness a day when fires would rage through neighborhoods near us. Families are either evacuated or on high alert. Ash falling like snow and constant fear of the wind worsening the situation—it’s terrifying.”

She added, “I’m heartbroken for those who lost their homes and everything in these fires. My prayers go out to them. Thank you to the fire department and all the brave individuals saving lives and property. Stay safe, everyone.”

The LA wildfires have left a trail of destruction, with numerous families displaced. Efforts are underway to control the blaze, but the road to recovery will be long for many, including Masaba Gupta’s family.
