Nikita Porwal has been crowned Miss India 2024, marking a major achievement in her life. Hailing from Madhya Pradesh, Nikita bested 29 contestants to win the coveted crown. She will now represent India in the Miss World 2024 competition. Born and raised in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, Nikita has been living in Mumbai for several years, honing her skills to achieve this prestigious title.
The event also saw Rekha Pandey from Dadra and Nagar Haveli named the first runner-up, and Ayushi Dholakia from Gujarat as the second runner-up. Contestants from 30 states competed fiercely for the title of Femina Miss India 2024. The judging panel included prominent names like Neha Dhupia, Sangeeta Bijlani, Nikita Mhaisalkar, Anees Bazmee, Bosco Martis, and renowned filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar.
The grand finale was nothing short of spectacular, with musical performances by the popular group Band of Boys, captivating the audience. Former Miss India 1980, Sangeeta Bijlani, also gave a dazzling performance, further elevating the glamour of the night.
Nikita had previously won the Femina Miss India Madhya Pradesh title in August, and her win has brought immense joy to her family and the entire state. Last year, the Miss India crown was claimed by Nandini Gupta in 2023.
