Industry Struggles: Facing Bullying on Sets
Despite her achievements, Shweta faced several hurdles in the industry. In a recent interview with Bollywood Bubble, she revealed that she was bullied on a Telugu film set. According to the actress, co-stars often mocked her height, as they were significantly taller.
She also mentioned that while one of her co-actors struggled with the Telugu language, only she was ridiculed on set. “It was a tough experience where I was constantly targeted,” she shared.
Personal Struggles: Controversy & Divorce
Shweta’s personal life has also been filled with ups and downs. In 2014, she was arrested in Hyderabad on false allegations and sent to a rescue home for two months. However, the Metropolitan Sessions Court later dismissed all charges against her, proving her innocence. She later clarified that the accusations were completely baseless.
In 2018, she married filmmaker Rohit Mittal, but their marriage ended in divorce just a year later in 2019.
A New Chapter: Leading Oops Ab Kya
