‘Pushpa 2’ Shatters Records on Its 23rd Day, Still Going Strong Despite New Releases
Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna’s much-anticipated film Pushpa 2 continues to perform phenomenally at the box office. Even after nearly a month of its release, the excitement around the movie hasn’t died down. Despite the release of Varun Dhawan’s Baby John, Pushpa 2 is still raking in millions, with the latest figures showing the film’s massive ₹8.75 crore collection on its 23rd day.
According to Saknilk, Pushpa 2 has now crossed an impressive ₹1,128.85 crore in just 23 days. The film’s collections include ₹320.13 crore from the Telugu version, ₹731.15 crore from Hindi, ₹55.95 crore from Tamil, ₹7.53 crore from Kannada, and ₹14.09 crore from Malayalam.
Breaking Down the Collection
In its first week, Pushpa 2 earned ₹725.8 crore. The second week saw a drop, but still managed to pull in ₹264.8 crore. By its third week, the film earned ₹129.5 crore. Though there was a slight dip on the fourth Friday, expectations are high that the film will bounce back with a strong weekend performance. Industry insiders predict that Pushpa 2 might even break the ₹1,200 crore mark by the end of this weekend.
Baby John’s Early Struggles
On the other hand, Baby John, which was released just three days ago, has earned only ₹18 crore in its opening weekend. Despite being a highly anticipated film starring Varun Dhawan, Baby John is struggling to match Pushpa 2‘s massive success. With declining daily earnings, it seems unlikely that the film will pose a significant challenge to Pushpa 2.
Pushpa 2 was made on a budget of around ₹500 crore and features Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil in key roles. With its unprecedented box-office performance, Pushpa 2 has proven to be a massive success, continuing to captivate audiences worldwide.
