Furthermore, the advance bookings for the first Sunday indicate that the film will continue to perform exceptionally well on the third day. There is a considerable buzz for the film in Chennai, where the occupancy rate has exceeded 77%.
Given these factors, Raayan is expected to surpass ₹100 crore in its second week and become Dhanush’s highest-grossing film to date, overtaking Vaathi (2023) and Thirru (2022).
