Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, one of Bollywood’s power couples, have finally completed their much-anticipated home in Bandra, Mumbai. The luxurious property, valued at a whopping ₹250 crore, has been the subject of fascination for fans over the years, as construction updates and occasional visits by the actors were frequently shared online. However, despite its grandeur and price tag, the home has sparked mixed reactions from their fanbase.

A Dream Come True for Ranbir and Alia

The multi-storey home, named after Ranbir’s grandmother, Krishna Raj Kapoor, has been under construction for years. Over this period, Ranbir, Alia, and his mother Neetu Kapoor were often seen visiting the site, accompanied by their one-year-old daughter, Raha Kapoor. According to a paparazzo video shared on Instagram, the six-floor mansion is finally ready. It features a modern exterior with shades of grey and light blue, large glass balconies, and spacious windows—showcasing the home’s elegant design.

Fans Disappointed with the Design

Despite the completion of their dream home, fans seem underwhelmed by its appearance. Many social media users voiced their disappointment, comparing the mansion’s design to office buildings rather than a luxurious celebrity abode. One user commented, “This looks like office cabins,” while another stated, “Not a bungalow; more like a builder floor you’d find in Delhi’s Punjabi Bagh or Prithviraj Road.”

Comparison with YouTuber Elvish Yadav’s Home

Adding to the critique, some fans even compared the mansion’s design to YouTuber Elvish Yadav’s house. Many comments expressed how similar the two homes looked, with one fan stating, “Is this Elvish’s house? Looks so similar!”

The Most Expensive Celebrity Bungalow in Mumbai

Despite the divided opinions on its aesthetic, the Kapoor family’s new home has earned the title of the “most expensive” celebrity bungalow in Mumbai, surpassing iconic residences like Shah Rukh Khan’s Mannat and Amitabh Bachchan’s Jalsa. Earlier reports had suggested that Ranbir was planning to name the bungalow after their daughter Raha, making her the “youngest and richest star kid” in Bollywood.

With the home now ready, it is rumored that the entire Kapoor family, including Neetu Kapoor, will soon move into the new mansion. Until now, Ranbir and Alia have been living at their Vastu apartment with their daughter.
