Ranveer Allahbadia in Legal Trouble: Popular YouTuber and podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia finds himself in hot water as investigations intensify in the India’s Got Latent controversy. Authorities claim that despite multiple summons, Allahbadia has yet to respond. Mumbai and Guwahati police released a joint statement revealing that the YouTuber has not established any contact with law enforcement or indicated willingness to cooperate with the investigation.

Police Statement on the Case

According to officials, FIRs have been lodged against Allahbadia by Maharashtra Cyber Cell, Guwahati Police, and Jaipur Police. Despite being summoned, he has remained unresponsive. Maharashtra Cyber Cell has specifically ordered him to appear before authorities on February 24.

Apart from Guwahati, Jaipur police have also filed a case but have been unable to reach him. Meanwhile, Maharashtra Cyber Cell confirmed that the matter is under investigation due to Allahbadia’s controversial remarks, which sparked widespread outrage.

Samay Raina Also Summoned

Comedian Samay Raina has also been ordered to appear before the Cyber Cell on February 18. The National Commission for Women (NCW) has initiated an investigation and summoned both Allahbadia and Raina. However, several individuals involved in the case have cited safety concerns and travel commitments as reasons for their inability to appear before the commission.

Allahbadia has reportedly informed NCW that he has received death threats, requesting a delay in his hearing. The commission has granted his request, rescheduling his appearance for March 6.

Samay Raina Issues Statement

Samay Raina took to social media to clarify his stance, stating that his intent was solely to entertain. He also announced that he has removed all India’s Got Latent show videos from his channel. Raina assured his full cooperation with authorities to ensure a fair investigation.

Following the controversy, Raina publicly apologized, acknowledging that he never intended to hurt anyone’s sentiments. He reiterated that his actions were meant purely for entertainment and confirmed his commitment to assisting in the ongoing inquiry.
