Bollywood superstar Salman Khan finds himself once again at the center of death threats, this time from a 20-year-old youth from Noida. Following the tragic murder of NCP leader Baba Siddique, a threat call was made late Friday night, creating fresh concerns for Salman’s safety.

New Threat Against Salman Khan

Mumbai police swiftly acted and arrested Gulfan Khan, a 20-year-old from Noida, accused of issuing death threats to Salman Khan. Not only did Salman receive this threat, but Baba Siddique’s son, Zeeshan Siddique, also reportedly faced similar intimidation from the same caller. In a recent interview, Zeeshan revealed that after his father’s tragic murder, Salman has been deeply disturbed and lost sleep due to the escalating threats.

The police are expected to transfer Gulfan Khan to Mumbai soon for further investigation into the alarming incident.

Background of the Ongoing Conflict

Salman Khan has been receiving threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang for years, tracing back to an infamous incident in 1998. The conflict began when Salman was accused of hunting a blackbuck, a sacred animal for the Bishnoi community, in Rajasthan. The community demanded an apology from Salman at their temple, but when he didn’t comply, Lawrence Bishnoi vowed to settle the score and openly swore to kill him. Although Salman was later acquitted in the blackbuck case, the tension has continued.

Adding to this turmoil, Baba Siddique was shot dead by Lawrence Bishnoi’s associates on October 12 while celebrating Dussehra in Mumbai. Bishnoi gang members later claimed responsibility, citing Baba Siddique’s close ties with Salman Khan as one reason for the politician’s murder.

Salim Khan Defends His Son

In response to these continuous threats, Salman’s father, renowned screenwriter Salim Khan, recently clarified that Salman was not present during the blackbuck incident, adding that “Salman can’t even harm a cockroach.” He firmly stated, “Why should he apologize? If he apologizes, it implies guilt, and he has done nothing wrong. This whole fiasco seems to be a ploy to extort money from us.”

With new threats emerging and past grievances unresolved, Salman Khan’s safety remains a significant concern amidst a complex web of personal and communal grievances.
