SS Rajamouli Announces "Baahubali: Crown of Blood" Animated Series
Baahubali: Crown of Blood

Renowned filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli, the mastermind behind the worldwide hit Baahubali, has sparked fan excitement with the news of a brand-new animated series called Baahubali: Crown of Blood. With this exciting new chapter, fans will be able to see the beloved characters and legends from an animated new angle while also contributing to the epic story of the made-up country of Mahishmati.

Baahubali: The Beginning (2015) and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017), the first 2 films in the “Baahubali” series, were immensely successful worldwide. The creatively amazing historical fantasy moves became the highest-grossing Indian films of their day, receiving favourable reviews for their intense action, complex storytelling, and engaging acting.

A New Chapter in Animation

Rajamouli revealed the title Baahubali: Crown of Blood and an exciting teaser on X (Twitter) on 30 April. The series’ title was shown in the video emerging from smoke amid the loud cries of Baahubali, which aroused fans’ curiosity. The return of the legendary warrior was referred to in the caption, which sparked concerns about whether the show would focus on a new chapter in the Mahishmati timeline or Baahubali’s beginning story.

The announcement of Baahubali: Crown of Blood suggests that there might be a Baahubali universe apart from the first 2 films. This makes it possible to investigate different storylines inside the existing universe, go further into the pasts of beloved characters, or create whole new worlds of heroes and villains.

Fans are eagerly awaiting the release of Baahubali: Crown of Blood’s official trailer, which has not yet been released. But, one thing is for sure, the animated “Baahubali” comeback promises to be an exciting new chapter in this epic story.
