While Suriya continues his exciting projects in cinema industry, Thalapathy Vijay recently announced his departure from acting to join the political field. At the audio launch of Suriya’s upcoming film ‘Kanguva,’ the actor spoke about Thalapathy Vijay.

Thalapathy Vijay is now gearing up for a massive rally in Villupuram, in the town of Vikravandi. The political conference comes eight months after Vijay launched his party, ‘Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam’ (TVK). TVK has not yet participated in any elections, it is preparing for the 2026 assembly elections and has already generated significant public interest.
He announced his departure from movies and also revealed that his upcoming film with H. Vinoth, ‘Thalapathy 69,’ will be the last film of his career. ‘Kanguva’ is directed by Siva. The movie starred Suriya, Bobby Deol in the lead roles. Disha Patani, Jagapathi Babu, Natarajan Subramaniam and Yogi Babu are casted in the movie.
