A Fresh Take on Love and Marriage: The much-anticipated film Mere Husband Ki Biwi has finally hit the theaters, offering a unique mix of humor, drama, and romance. Starring Arjun Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, and Rakul Preet Singh, the movie takes the classic Pati, Patni Aur Woh trope and gives it a fresh twist.

The Storyline

Set in Delhi, the film follows Ankur Chaddha (Arjun Kapoor), a man who has recently divorced his overbearing wife, Prableen (Bhumi Pednekar). Traumatised by his past marriage, Ankur avoids relationships until his friend Rehan (Harsh Gujral) pushes him to move on. However, his nightmares continue, haunted by memories of his ex-wife.

Enter Antara Khanna (Rakul Preet Singh), Ankur’s college crush, whom he unexpectedly meets in Rishikesh. Rekindling old emotions, Ankur finds himself drawn to her, hoping for a fresh start. But things take a turn when Antara learns about Ankur’s troubled past.

Comedy, Chaos, and a Big Twist

As Ankur struggles between past trauma and newfound love, the story takes a dramatic turn when Prableen meets with an accident, losing her recent memories. She now believes she is still married to Ankur, pulling him back into a web of confusion. Will Ankur find happiness with Antara, or will he be forced to return to Prableen?

Comic Timing and Performances

Arjun Kapoor delivers a solid performance, balancing humor and emotional depth as a confused lover. Bhumi Pednekar impresses with her quirky and unpredictable character, while Rakul Preet Singh brings charm to the story. Comedian Harsh Gujral adds light-hearted moments, making the film a fun watch.

Direction and Music

Directed by Mudassar Aziz, known for Pati Patni Aur Woh, the film is packed with engaging moments but falters slightly in the music department. While the background score complements the story, the songs fail to leave a lasting impression.
