KBC has reached its 18th season without compromising glory. And Amitabh Bachchan has become the face of the show. On his birthday, 11th October KBC has stored an amazing surprise for him. Amir Khan and his son Junaid Khan are coming to the show to celebrate his birthday on the set of Kaun Banega Crorepati.
Makers have already released the promo of the grand episode. At the beginning of the promo, Amir Khan is seen dancing on “Jhuma Chumma De De”. Amir Khan evoked laughter with his witty comments. He engaged with the audience and asked, “Jab mai chota tha tab superstar kon tha? Aur ab jab mei budha hone jaa raha hun tab superstar kaun hai?” Both times, the audience answered Amitabh Bachchan. Mr. Bachchan will also sing “Rang Barse Bhige Chunarwali rang barse.”
Junaid Khan will also engage in a fun banter with Big B. In the promo, he is seen asking Mr. Amitabh Bachchan if he was nervous or excited on his wedding day. To this Amir Khan gave him a shocking look and asked him not to ask such questions. In response when Mr. Bachchan asked him if there’s anyone in his life, he procrastinated the discussion.
Amir Khan is also seen recalling the first time he came to play Kaun Banega Crorepati. He said when he was playing for the first time Mr. Bachchan scolded him after the cut. He explained, ”Last question ka answer mujhe nehi malum tha aur maine Javed sahib ko phone kiya. He told me dono me se hain. Matlab he gave a choice of two. To maine usmese ak bol diya. Achcha sir bol rahe hai aap sure nehi ho to lock mat karo aapka pura paisa abhitak jayega. Mai thoda gambler type ka admi hun. Maine bola sir aap lock kar dijiye. Aur luckily wo answer correct nikla. Uske bad jab cut hua, cut jaisehi hua sir ne mujhe aisi daant lagai ki kya karr rahe ho tum aagar wrong nikalta to!”
At one point Amir Khan wittily asked Amitabh Bachchan if he remembered the day he was born. Then he disclosed that Mr. Bachchan’s father had written certain things about that day. And he started reading those, “ki Jab Teji ne mujhe jaga kar bataya ki unke pet mei pira arambh ho gayi hai brahma muhrat tha swapna itna spast tha aur mai use itna abhibhut tha ki mai use bagayer Teji se bataye na rahe saka. Uss adhjage adhsoye se mere muh se nikal gaya ‘Teji tumhara ladka hi hoga aur uski roop mei mere pitaji ki atma aa rahi hai.” The moment became majestic.
When Junaid Khan asked Mr. Bachchan about his mother Teji Bachchan, he narrated a funny incident from his childhood. He said once he went to his mother and told her that his friends had beaten him. After hearing she ordered him to beat them in return immediately. And he went. Hearing this incident Amir Khan quipped that’s how “Angry Young Man” was born.
During one such conversation, Amir Khan asked him if he remembered his wedding date. When Big B answered he asked to show some proof and Amir Khan brought Mr. Bachchan’s wedding card. And concluded by saying he had given him the proof of being his no.1 fan by getting this wedding card.
