His stories and humor have always entertained his audience. He will get a surprise on KBC on his birthday on 11th October.
Recently makers have shared a promo featuring Amir Khan and his son Junaid Khan on a KBC set. The promo shows that Amir Khan and Junaid Khan are coming out of the vanity van and whispers in the camera, “Shhh, Amit ji ko pata nahi chalna chahiye I humlog aaj show pe hain. Bolna nahi haan.” The caption of the promo gives a hint to the audience which goes, “Something special is in store for the megastar’s birthday celebration! Watch #KaunBanegaCrorepati, Megastar’s Birthday Special, on October 11 at 9 PM, Only on #SonyEntertainmaintTelevision.”
In another promo, the Sahensha of Bollywood shared his thoughts on OTT content and big screens. He said the OTT platforms have so much content that he feels overwhelmed. He also feels that films are meant for the big screen considering the hard work behind it.
Big B said, “It often happens that when I go to watch a film, I read the title beforehand, but if someone asks me a month later which movie I watched, I forget the name. I mentioned this because nowadays, there is an overwhelming abundance of films. Whether on mobile or in theatres, there are countless options everywhere.”
When the contestant said that they usually watch movies on mobile phones Amitabh Bachchan shared his difficulties with the small screen. He said, “I find it difficult to watch on such a small screen; it feels a bit strange. We’ve worked hard to enjoy films on the big screen. Hum bade parde ke liye banate hai, and there’s something truly special about watching a film in the theatres.”
During the conversation, Amitabh Bachchan also mentioned the re-release of the film Sholay. To which the contestant said his father is a huge fan of Sholey and he used to watch the film on repeat on CDs. On-demand of fans, Big B recited his famous dialogue, “Tumhara naam kya hai, Basanti?”
