Competing against stars like Tejasswi Prakash, Gaurav Khanna, Usha Nadkarni, Faisal Shaikh, Nikki Tamboli, and Archana Gautam, she is proving to be a strong contender. However, in her latest vlog, she revealed a major setback, her shoulder injury has worsened.
Sharing her experience on YouTube, Dipika spoke about her demanding schedule and how she is balancing work with motherhood. She revealed that the constant activity had aggravated her injury, making the pain unbearable. Recalling the difficult moment, she said she was in terrible shape. Doctors diagnosed her with a muscle injury in her shoulder and upper arm. Due to her hectic routine, the pain escalated, forcing her to rush to the hospital. For the next two days, she will be on medication to manage the discomfort.
In the vlog, Dipika appeared with her shoulder in a cast. She explained that the doctors have advised her to limit movement in the affected area. Though she has been prescribed anti-inflammatory medicines, recovery will take time. Despite the pain, she remains committed to her responsibilities. Wanting to spread joy among her co-contestants, she even baked a cake for them after a long day of shooting.
Meanwhile, the latest promo of Celebrity MasterChef hints at a tense elimination round. A few contestants are in danger, including Dipika. Tejasswi Prakash also finds herself in the bottom three, visibly emotional as she faces elimination for the second time.
The competition is only getting tougher. Chandan Prabhakar became the first contestant to be eliminated from the show. Due to her intense workload, the issue resurfaced. The doctor didn’t impose strict restrictions but advised her to keep her hand still whenever possible. While she is allowed to remove the sling while cooking on MasterChef, she has been told to rest her arm otherwise.
