Earlier previous month, Ektaa Kapoor shared a video on Instagram, seemingly mocking Ram Kapoor’s drastic weight loss after he denied using Ozempic for it. Now, Gautami Kapoor has responded with her own take. In a recent Instagram video, she mimicked Ektaa’s statements, questioning whether she should try an anti-inflammatory diet, Ozempic, or Mounjaro. Then, she answered herself, saying, “I think mere liye gym hi kaafi hai.” While flexing her arms, she added, “Kyuki hume bade nahi, chote hi ache lagte hai,” before bursting into laughter.
Gautami’s caption further emphasized her stance: “Jisse jo pasand ho, use woh karne do. Live and let live… At the end, what matters is health, happiness, and peace.”
The controversy dates back to an interview where Ram Kapoor spoke about his experience filming a kiss scene in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain. He revealed that Ektaa Kapoor had asked him to do the scene with Sakshi Tanwar, saying that as an actor, it was his job to follow the script. He stated, “Mera kaam hai script ko follow karo… Main kaise bol sakta hu ki ye main nahi kar sakta, tab main actor nahi hu… so I did nothing wrong.”
Shortly after this interview, Ektaa seemingly responded with an Instagram story, warning that “Unprofessional actors giving interviews about my shows should shut up! False information and skewed stories can only last till I talk… but there is dignity in silence.”
Later, Ram Kapoor shared details of his fitness journey, revealing that he had lost 55 kg through sheer hard work.
