Farah Khan, a familiar face on Bigg Boss 18, often stepped in to give contestants a dose of reality. Recently, she met up with Karan Veer Mehra, someone she openly calls her favorite from the season. The Bigg Boss 18 champion joined her on a vlog, leading to an engaging conversation. Amid their chat, Farah made a surprising disclosure about Shilpa Shirodkar.
She recalled approaching Shilpa for a song that later became iconic. Looking back, she admitted she had initially considered Shilpa for ‘Chhaiya Chhaiya’ instead of Malaika Arora. At that time, however, she noticed a change. “I had gone to her with the offer, but something was different. She must have weighed around 100 kg then. That made me wonder how would she even climb onto the train? And if she did, where would Shah Rukh stand?” she remarked.
Karan Veer Mehra couldn’t contain his laughter. He playfully added that if Shilpa had been on the train, there wouldn’t have been any need for background dancers.
Karan also shared thoughts on his bond with Chum Darang, reflected on a tough phase in his life, and spoke about his journey in Khatron Ke Khiladi 14. During their conversation, Farah asked about Darang’s whereabouts, showing curiosity about his life post-show.
