Gaurav Taneja, widely recognized as Flying Beast, shared his perspective on the controversy surrounding Ranveer Allahbadia’s comments on India’s Got Latent. He expressed disappointment over the way the situation escalated, believing that Ranveer was being unfairly targeted.

Taneja began by stating that he usually avoids getting involved in such controversies. However, seeing the extent to which the issue had blown up, he felt compelled to speak. He remarked that while it was good to see young people standing up for what they believed in, the situation had now taken a serious turn.

The YouTuber questioned why authorities across multiple states had become involved. He pointed out the legal pressure on Ranveer, highlighting that not only had he been summoned multiple times, but even former guests and the show’s editor had been dragged into the matter.

Taking a sharp dig, Taneja asked why the authorities weren’t summoning Sundar Pichai, the CEO of Google, since YouTube’s algorithms allow such content to exist. He insisted that if officials were truly concerned about offensive language, they should also hold Pichai accountable. However, he believed they would never do that because they lacked the courage. “They can only go after someone weaker, someone they can harass,” he asserted.

He criticized the authorities for their selective targeting and added that what was happening was in plain sight for everyone to see. Concluding his statement, he voiced his disappointment in the current system, stating that this was not the democracy people had voted for.

His words resonated with many online, with netizens flooding the comment section in agreement. Many praised him for speaking his mind. Several users pointed out that Ranveer had apologized once he realized his mistake, and that should have been enough.

Meanwhile, another perspective emerged from someone who claimed to be present during the controversial episode. Mohit Khubani, an 18-year-old from Mumbai, uploaded a video on social media defending both Ranveer and comedian Samay Raina.

Mohit, who usually shares fitness-related content, felt compelled to step in. He recalled that after Ranveer made the joke, he immediately checked with the contestant to ensure he was comfortable. According to Mohit, Ranveer kept asking whether his words had hurt him and repeatedly apologized.

Mohit mentioned that Samay Raina also made sure the contestant was okay. He further revealed that the contestant eventually won the competition, and during the celebrations, Ranveer once again hugged him and said sorry. Samay even praised the contestant’s performance that day.

Wanting to prove his presence at the event, Mohit stated that he would share a screenshot of his ticket on his Instagram story. His video quickly gained traction, amassing over two million views and sparking a wave of online discussions.

In his post, Mohit described Samay Raina as the most humble person he had ever met. He explained that comedy was meant to be a break from reality, a space for laughter. According to him, if people began taking offense at every joke, there would eventually be nothing left to joke about.

His post read: “This is what actually happened in that episode of India’s Got Latent. It’s raw and unfiltered. I might delete it later.” He further stated that many people didn’t even know the full story but were still quick to judge.

He strongly defended Samay, expressing how much he admired him even before India’s Got Latent. He recalled attending his shows and described him as an incredibly down-to-earth person. His words reflected his frustration with the ongoing hate directed at his favorite creators.

The controversy continues to divide opinions, with many supporting Ranveer and Samay, while others believe accountability is necessary. But for now, social media remains a battleground of differing perspectives.
