The first season of Celebrity MasterChef wrapped up with a grand finale that left fans cheering and emotional. The competition had been intense, full of flavor and fire, but it was Gaurav Khanna who rose above the rest and claimed the winner’s title. With the coveted trophy in his hands, he also took home the prestigious Chef coat and a cash prize of Rs 20 lakh.
The final lineup included some of television’s biggest names. Nikki Tamboli emerged as the first runner-up, while Tejasswi Prakash secured the third position. Alongside them in the finals were Faisal Shaikh, known as Mr Faisu, and the ever-entertaining Rajiv Adatia. The show’s judging panel was led by celebrated chefs Ranveer Brar and Vikas Khanna, with Farah Khan bringing in her unique charm as both host and judge.
Just when everyone thought the kitchen had cooled down, it was revealed that the show isn’t over yet. A brand new episode will air on Monday, bringing fresh content and unexpected moments. A promo gave a sneak peek into what’s coming next.
In the promo, with a cheeky smile, Gaurav says, “There’s a new Chef Khanna in the market now.” Nikki and others burst out laughing at his confident joke. But Gaurav isn’t done. He shares that he’s ready to teach new recipes and techniques in a MasterClass that everyone would enjoy.
This bonus episode brings a twist, a Home Cooks vs Celebrity Cooks challenge. The task seems light-hearted but tricky. Contestants are asked to taste a set of drinks and correctly identify them. Amidst the tasting chaos, Gaurav takes the opportunity to impersonate Ranveer Brar, mimicking his tone and expressions in a way that gets the room laughing.
The segment also sees Chef Vikas Khanna joining in the MasterClass. He looks at Gaurav and playfully says that if Gaurav’s team loses, they’ll have to bear the cost. “If your team loses, you will have to pay,” Vikas declares, adding a playful competitive edge to the otherwise relaxed episode.
