TV actress Hina Khan recently revealed that she has been diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. On July 1, Hina posted a video showing her heading to the hospital for her first chemotherapy session immediately after attending an award show.
The video begins with Hina posing for paparazzi on the red carpet and receiving an award at the event. Following this, she is seen going to the hospital for her chemotherapy. In the video, an emotional Hina says, “All the glamour has ended, and I am ready for my first chemotherapy in the hospital. Let’s get better.”
While sharing the video clip, Hina wrote, “I knew about my cancer on this award night, but I decided to normalize it – not just for myself but for all of us. This was the day that changed everything, marking the start of one of the most challenging phases of my life. So, let’s talk about something positive.”
Hina further wrote, “Let’s make a promise. We become what we believe in. I took this challenge as an opportunity to transform myself. I decided to keep positivity as the first weapon in my toolkit. I thought of normalizing it for myself. For me, my work matters. My inspiration, passion, and art matter.”
She continued, “I will not bow down. This award, which I received just before my first chemo, was not my only inspiration. I truly appeal to everyone to make all the difficulties in your life easier, normalize them, set your goals, and strive to achieve them. No matter how tough it gets. Never back down. Never give up.”
Fans and celebrities alike have shown immense support and love for Hina on this video. Her long-time boyfriend, Rocky Jaiswal, commented, “My fighter.” Arti Singh wrote, “You are an inspiration to many… Allah is with you. Your daddy is with you. Prayers and blessings for you.”
