She described how her mother finds solace in the balcony of their home, closing the sliding door to let her tears flow in private. “Sometimes she cries in front of me. Namaz mai bohot roti hai,” Hina expressed, reflecting on the moments her mother prays while shedding tears.

She also reflected on how her father would have responded if he were still alive. “Sometimes my mom and I talk ki agar is waqt voh hote na, voh kaise hi handle karte. Unke bass ki hi nahi thi ye,” Hina said, admitting that her father would have found it difficult to cope. She described how he treated her like a queen, highlighting their cherished bond.
Hina further noted that she believes everything happens according to God’s plan. She said, “Mere papa nahi dekh paate. Sawal hi nahi,” adding that it may be a blessing in disguise that her father wasn’t there to witness her suffering. Despite his absence, Hina shared that she often feels her father’s presence. When asked if she sensed any connection with him following her diagnosis, Hina admitted she visualizes him and sometimes engages in conversations with him. “It helps me. Sometimes I get my answers,” she said, finding comfort in those imagined exchanges.
