Jasmine Bhasin, a familiar face in Indian television, earned massive popularity after her appearance in Bigg Boss 14. While she had already made her mark through several TV shows, it was the reality show that brought her widespread attention. Her bond with Aly Goni inside the house grabbed countless headlines, while her frequent disagreements with Rubina Dilaik became one of the most talked-about aspects of the season. Recently, Jasmine opened up about those moments and where things stand between her and Rubina today.
In a candid conversation, Jasmine looked back at her time in the Bigg Boss house. She spoke about the arguments and tension with Rubina Dilaik, explaining how it wasn’t something personal but more about the format of the show. Jasmine recalled how the environment inside the house was intentionally built to stir emotions and conflicts. “There is a set pattern. They have to create tasks and situations; otherwise, we would have eaten and slept,” she stated.
Jasmine further shared that each contestant reacted based on their individual nature. The tasks and situations designed by the makers naturally pushed contestants into confrontation, and since she and Rubina had different temperaments, their opinions would often clash. She believed that both of them were simply being true to who they were. According to Jasmine, in a competitive, high-pressure space like Bigg Boss, it’s human instinct to react. She mentioned, “We, as entertainers, had to give our 100 percent in the show and be honest.”
When asked about her current relationship with Rubina Dilaik, Jasmine gave a straightforward response. She mentioned that they haven’t crossed paths in recent times, mainly because Rubina is now occupied with her new chapter as a mother. Jasmine pointed out that they no longer live in the same building either. Despite that, Jasmine expressed no ill will and said, “But I have all the love for her.”
She went on to share that Aly Goni, her partner, still maintains a cordial connection with Rubina. Aly had even messaged Rubina to congratulate her when she became a mother. Jasmine described their equation today as polite and pleasant. She made it clear that, as an actor, she doesn’t believe in carrying old emotions be it good or bad from one project or person to another. Carrying emotional baggage would only weigh her down.
Through her words, Jasmine reminded everyone how reality shows, though intensely competitive, are essentially work for those involved. The emotions might be real in the moment, but it’s important for professionals to move ahead without holding onto past clashes. And that’s exactly what she seems to have done.
