Karan Veer Mehra opened up about a time when he considered adopting a child. He recalled, “Of course. There was a time when I wanted kids. I was looking for adoption.” He mentioned that while he had a strong desire to adopt a girl, strict regulations made it difficult for single fathers. The process was slow, and his turn was far down the line. When surrogacy became an option, he started considering it as well.

However, life had other plans. Mehra shared that his sister had two wonderful children, and in a lighthearted manner, he joked, “Aur maine loan pe diye huye hain usko. Main kabhi le sakta hun. Outsource kiya hua hai abhi maine,” as he had lovingly named them Aviraj and Advik. Their presence in his life gave him immense happiness, fulfilling his wish to be around kids.

Reflecting on his journey in Mumbai, he reminisced about his early days. When he first arrived in the city, he spent some time at his aunt’s house before shifting to a rented place close to his shoot location. A friend introduced him to someone well-known in the industry, and that person turned out to be Saurabh Sachdeva. The acting coach, who gained recognition for his role in Animal, became an integral part of Mehra’s life.

He recalled how a small group of five, including Sachdeva, moved into a 2BHK apartment together. Those months were filled with unforgettable experiences. After around six to eight months, Sachdeva and Mehra relocated to Andheri, where they spent over a decade living together.

When asked if he still stayed in touch with Sachdeva, Mehra excitedly revealed that a reunion was on the horizon. He shared that an acting workshop was planned for the 15th, 16th, and 17th, where many familiar faces would join. He mentioned Raghav, Arjun, and Varun Dhawan among the attendees, emphasizing that they were all former students of Sachdeva.

Adding a humorous touch, the Khatron Bigg Boss 18 and Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 winner joked, “Luckily, ab mein bhi thoda famous ho gaya hu toh unhone mujhe bhi bola aaja tu bhi.” He expressed gratitude for being included in the group, highlighting how much respect he had for Sachdeva’s training.

During the conversation, Mehra also reflected on his early struggles with auditions and how he landed his breakthrough role in Remix. He spoke about his professional relationships with various actors, including Ankita Lokhande, and even shared insights into his time on Bigg Boss 18. His experiences in the industry, from living in shared spaces to making it big, shaped him into the person he is today.
