The latest episode of Bigg Boss 18 was a whirlwind of emotions, heated exchanges, and tension. The housemates participated in the high-stakes ‘Time God’ task, which tested endurance, loyalty, and strategic thinking. Relationships were in test in the task. Shilpa Shirodkar, the task’s ‘Sanchalak,’ once again found herself at the centre of controversy due to her decision-making, which seemed to target her friend, Karan Veer Mehra. Her choice left many questioning the true nature of their friendship.
Eisha Singh emerged victorious, earning the title of ‘Time God,’ but the focus quickly shifted to Shilpa’s judgment. Despite calling Karan a friend, Shilpa continuously that went against him, raising eyebrows. Karan, carrying Edin Rose on his back, and Avinash Mishra, with Eisha on his back, battled fatigue as they moved continuously for 4 hours. Shilpa’s abrupt rule change, stating that anyone who paused would be eliminated turned the tide. When Karan briefly paused to suggest a race instead, so that the decision making becomes quick, Shilpa dismissed his idea and insisted he continue walking. Moments later, Karan paused again, which let to Shilpa declare Eisha the winner as Karan paused twice according to Shilpa Shirodkar.
The house was divided. Many contestants, including Digvijay Rathee, Kashish Kapoor, and Chum Darang, openly criticized Shilpa for being unfair. Digvijay, who supported Karan throughout, called Shilpa a “ghatiya insaan” for her biased behaviour. Frustrated, he urged Karan to confront Shilpa. However, Karan then said it was fine as Eisha was her priority.
After the task, Karan headed to the washroom to cool off, followed by Digvijay. There, Digvijay tried to console him, encouraging him to speak up and defend himself. Despite the urging, Karan seemed resigned, reflecting that it was pointless to change anyone’s mind. Karan remained calm, responding, “Life mein humesha sab unfair hua hai, koi nahi.” His demeanor remained composed, yet the hurt was evident.
Later, standing alone in front of the mirror, Karan’s emotions got the better of him. He quietly reflected on the day’s events, speaking softly to himself about the actions of Shilpa and another friend, Shrutika Arjun. Sitting in a corner of the living area, Karan admitted that perhaps he had been too focused on maintaining friendships rather than playing the game strategically. When Shilpa tried to talk to him Karan was seen asking 1 or 2 days to reflect on the situation and then come again. Shilpa left wondering if the completion was between Eden and Eisha or Karanveer and Eisha.
The Time God task had been grueling. Karan, Avinash, and Rajat Dalal were tasked with carrying Edin Rose, Eisha Singh, and Vivian Dsena, respectively, on their backs without resting. Rajat gave up early, but Karan and Avinash kept pushing through until the controversial ruling ended it all.
Kamya Punjabi seems also upset with Shipa’s decision. Taking it to the Twitter she wrote, “Shilpa: Fair rahungi kal ke sanchalak ke jaise. Eisha: I like that… Chalo accept bhi kar liya . Aur #BiggBoss ne kitna sochke yeh pairs banaaye honge na badi mushkil hui hogi na .” she also goes on praising Karanveer and Avinash and criticising Shilpa saying, “Bhai aise dost se toh 1000 dushman achhe… #BiggBoss18 Welldone Karan Veer n Avinash u guys were amazing.”
Ruled by exhaustion and disappointment, Karan reflected on how loyalty seemed one-sided. As he processed the day’s events, Shilpa’s decision continued to stir debate among the housemates, leaving viewers questioning the integrity of her choices.
