In a recent episode of Bigg Boss 18, Shrutika Arjun opened up to fellow contestant Chum Darang, revealing her concerns about Karanveer Mehra’s motives. Over the past few days, Shrutika had been noticing what she believed to be Karanveer’s strategic romantic gestures. She suspected his actions were aimed at gaining popularity. Despite their previously strained relationship, Shrutika reached out to Chum.

The heartfelt conversation took place late at night, with Shrutika lying beside Chum, trying to repair their fractured bond. Chum, still hurt, voiced her frustrations. She asked, “Am I a temple bell that you ring whenever you feel like?” Her disappointment was evident. She went on to tell Shrutika that she felt used, saying, “You stretch things too much. Stop doing this. We’re not friends anymore.”

Despite Chum’s clear anger, Shrutika persisted. She shifted the conversation to Karanveer, expressing doubts about his intentions. “I think he’s doing it all for the show,” she said, hinting at his calculated moves. She recalled how Karanveer had recently told host Rohit Shetty that he could pair with any female contestant, leaving her questioning his sincerity.

Meanwhile, emotions continued to run high in the house. In an upcoming episode, Karanveer Mehra is seen breaking down after failing to support close friend Shilpa Shirodkar during the ‘The Time God’ task. The two had developed a strong bond early in the season. However, Karanveer’s failure to stand up for Shilpa during the ‘Time God task’ led to a rift.

He said he was playing the game for sake of playing. He didn’t realize his mistake. Only after Chum discussed this with him he realized. Chum even said that since Karan’s actions doesn’t align with his words, thus it is hard to believe him.

Karanveer later confided in Shilpa, admitting his guilt and shame. “I’m a 45-year-old man, and I couldn’t even stand up for my friends,” he lamented. His regret was palpable, and he expressed feeling undeserving of friendship.

Karanveer, admitted that he felt ashamed of himself for his behavior. “I give speeches about friendship, but I can’t live up to them,” he said, as tears streaming down his face. This vulnerable moment revealed a side of Karanveer that fans rarely see. He is typically known as the calm and supportive figure in the house, but the intense pressures of the show had clearly taken their toll.

Fans are supporting Karan. One of them wrote, “Come on Karan. No one questioned anyone when they did not make you TG. Why are you explaining yourself. Play your game boy and your fans love you”.  Another one commented, “As a viewer and supporter can’t bear to watch karan go through such insults and targeting narratives….Can’t even imagine how he is holding all such things inside…..Much love karan.”

This emotional breakdown highlighted the complexities of navigating personal bonds in the Bigg Boss house. Contestants must balance their own survival with loyalty and friendship. As fans eagerly watch, it remains to be seen if Karanveer can mend his relationships with both Shilpa and Chum, or if the fractures will deepen further.
