She said standing at the Olympic podium she felt like her 8.5 years of journey was replaying in her mind in just eight seconds. In appreciation, Amitabh Bachchan said that she has won the hearts of the country. She said that shooting needs a lot of practice to master the art of being calm and expressionless. Every word of her represented her as a disciplined and fundamentally strong woman.
Aman Sehrawat said that his inspiration was former wrestler Sushil Kumar. He gave the credit for his success to his brother Sagar, who has supported him throughout his journey, and his coach who accompanied him in the show. He mentioned that his success is more significant to him because of that score of 10-0 over a wrestler who had previously defeated him with that same score once. His zill and resilience could be seen in each response.
