Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 has been the talk of the town since the very beginning of this season. Rohit Shetty’s captivating hosting and his banters with fellow contestants have always engaged the audience towards the show. After the elimination of Ashish Mehrotra this week; makers have released another breathtaking promo featuring Abhishek Kumar in a task in water with a snake. And new promo also added great humor with its title “Krishna’s choice, Shalin, Abhishek. What are you going to do with Abhishek?” where it can be seen that Krishna Shroff is given choices between Abhishek and Shalin with whom she’ll look good.
The show is about various stunts that challenge the fear of the contestants. The promo shows Abhishek Kumar doing a task with a snake in the water. Abhishek Kumar has previously claimed that he is claustrophobic thus this stunt in water is a huge challenge for him. Towards the end of the promo, it could be seen that Abhishek Kumar faints as he discovers a snake in his hand. Finally, the host, Rohit Shetty calls to abort the stunt. This incident startled the other contestants. This high-voltage promo keeps the audience on the edge of their seats.
Later, emphasizing the fear of the confined face and challenges involved in the stunt Abhishek Kumar said, “I have claustrophobia and paani ka darr bhi hai. Swimming is not an option at this time. (I have claustrophobia and a fear of water). I don’t know how to swim, and I’m being hanged upside down.”
Water stunts have been proved to be challenging for Abhishek Kumar even before this incident, during a water stunt involving Krishna Shroff, Sumona Chakravarti, and Abhishek Kumar, Abhishek was unable to dive into the water to complete the task. With the encouragement of other contestants, he could only stay at the rim of the pool letting Krishna Shroff and Sumona Chakravarti complete the task.
However, he has also performed a task based on staying in a closed room and he did accomplish this. Later he said he felt great to overcome his claustrophobia.
This promo also involves other contestants such as Shalin Bhanot, Nimrit Kaur, Ahluwalia, and Krishna Shroff. In the promo video, Rohit Shetty can be seen pulling the leg of Krishna Shroff, Shalin, and Abhishek. Here Rohit Shetty asked Krishna and Shalin to write a name between Shalin and Abhishek with whom Krishna would look nice. As a result when Shalin’s writing gives an impression as if he is looking at Krishna. While Krishna drew a smile writing Abhishek’s name. Abhishek Kumar couldn’t hold his happiness in this incident. Meanwhile, Shalin Bhanot said that he was going to get his Kundali checked in disappointment. He added, “Mera popat ho rha hai”. And Rohit Shetty replied funnily that it is because he is a popat holding his knees.
This banter humor continued with new episodes while some contestants had already been eliminated from the show Khatron ke Khiladi including Shilpa Shinde, Aditi Sharma, and Ashish Mehrotra. Asim Riaz’s elimination from the show in the second episode was a high-voltage drama. The dispute between Asim Riaz and Abhishek Kumar made buzz in the audience even before the incident occurred. Due to misbehaving of Asim Riaz makers and host Rohit Shetty of the show Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 decided to remove him from the show. This blend of intense stunts and humorous interactions keeps the audience engaged, with the latest episodes continuing this trend.
